CAPABILITIES
ROD
At Afton Plastics, we extrude rod in diameters ranging from .125" to 2.50". All of our rod stock is centerless ground to a tight tolerance and consistent finish. Our extruded rod goes through a rigorous in-process inspection to ensure it meets our stringent quality standards. Custom sizing and larger diameter rod lengths may be available upon request.
TUBE
Afton's compression molding department is fully equipped with thousands of mold combinations to get you the near net cylinder shape you desire. We are frequently updating our tooling and custom size offerings to ensure we have the right mold size for your application. Submit your part finished dimensions and our material experts will help maximize project yields and profitability.
SHEET
At Afton Plastics, we sell our sheet stock in square foot increments which allows you to buy what you need without the added cost of extra material. The smaller sizes give Afton the opportunity to provide a larger permanent sheet inventory with quick lead times. We compression mold sheets up to 2.75" thick and in the following sizes: 12" x 12", 12" x 24", and 24" x 24". Select materials are also available in an 18" x 18" finished mold.
MACHINED PARTS
Afton Plastics processes high performance thermoplastics into semi-finished articles for customization in our state-of-the-art machining and fabrication center. We are vertically integrated to streamline the manufacturing process from concept to component. Our machining capabilities include: screw machines, mills, lathes, overhead routers, CNC laser cutting, and precision cutting.
